1. No more paying for childcare
Big list huh? Please don't get me wrong, as I'm sure you know I love Kae, but sometimes I feel that she lives to test that and thinks I don't have a clue. This is her desk:
3 empty Vitamin Water bottles, 2 bowls (w/spoons), 3 glasses, a McDonald's cup and a soda can. This is not uncommon. In all fairness the recycle bin is a whole 8 feet from her desk, the trashcan a whopping 2 feet, so you understand why she doesn't clean it up. If I tell her her desk is messy I get "the stink eye". I swear to you that as I was typing that last sentence she came downstairs and asked me if they could have a sleepover tonight. Monday, a school night. I got the major eye roll when I didn't even look up and told her no. Lovely.Not only can't I control the messiness, I also apparently no longer have any idea what's cool to wear. Having your boobs hanging out is what all the cool 15 year olds are doing. Oh. Wait... not all 15 year olds have a rack like a 22 year old. Sure I dressed like that, at 23, and you can bet your ass I wasn't allowed to wear clothes like that at 15. When I tell her to please pull up whatever low cut cami she's wearing the eyes go a rolling back and she hikes it up an inch, only to pull the bottom back down a minute later. Anything I say gets met with "fine" or "whatever" because I obviously have no idea what I'm talking about. I feel like Clair Huxtable when she said "Roll your eyes at me I'll roll that little head of yours".

ReplyDeleteI can relate! I shudder before I go into Aron's room he's got so many piles of things in his room! His girlfriend gave him a good jab on Sunday...we were having his birthday cake and she had cut it all up and made little piles of cake all over her plate and then said "this is like the piles in Aron's room" -- LOL!!!
