We all heard the story of my rear window . Well the more Drew and I talked it out the more that seems to have been some kind of natural thing that occurred, not just some punk out smashing windows. The rear defroster may not have gone off when I shut off the car, there could have been a little crack that exploded in the cold. Just from the way there was nothing missing and most of the glass was on the outside of the car instead of in. Cool, right? No hooligans out damaging cars, until...
The other night I was walking in the living room when I saw the light on inside my car parked out front. I watched as someone leaned into the car, looking for something in the front seat, then on the passenger side. I assumed it was Drew, who was due home, it was dark out and our windows are kinda blurry. Then I watched as a car pulled up shining lights into our house (our house is at the end of a stop sign, this is normal) and Drew's car pulled forward and into our driveway. That was not my husband rooting through the front of my car. By the time I got to the side of the house and Drew got out the person had shut my car door and was walking away. Drew asked if I knew the guy and I said no and he started to run after him (queue the Indy music). He yelled at the guy and followed him for two blocks before the guy disappeared.
Drew said that when he pulled up he saw the guy in my car but wasn't sure if it was one of Kaeleigh's friends or not, and a guy standing on the corner like a lookout for him or something. They walked away together.
Can you believe the f*cking nerve? How do you just open a door and look around in someone's car for something to take. I will NEVER understand that. Nothing was missing, I didn't have anything in there but my phone charger.
We don't normally lock the doors in my car , but now, thanks to Mister Orange and Black Hoodie, I not only lock the car doors, but feel just a little less safe. Asshole.

I hate to say but it happens all the time, everywhere... Sad, but true. I have had the same thing happen out here at least twice. They got me for my work laptop which I had left in the trunk middle of last year. I never saw anyone, just found the contents of my glovebox strewn across the seat, and computer gone from my trunk.
Lock the doors and check your back seat when you get in...
It's very creepy. Someone did that to Steve's Jeep when we were at a Christmas party a year ago.
Darcie
bastards! It's so violating. Be safe my friend. Times are hard and people are getting more brazen.

Always lock your doors...to the house; to the car. You can never be too safe.
