Thanksgiving

I was especially thankful for the chocolate covered cherry on the
turkey decoration at my dinner place.

Liz's Holiday Cooking Tips

It's time to start holiday baking kids! This year I have decided to share my cooking knowledge with you and as I learn new things in the kitchen pass them on to you, my dear readers.

I'm kicking off my holiday baking a little early this year, we are responsible for bringing a cookie tray to my SIL Kelly's house on Thanksgiving. I'm looking to try a few new recipes to add to my old favorites of Chocolate Chip, Pizzelle, Oatmeal butterscotch and Chinese noodle cookies. As I was checking my stock of baking supplies I came across the tip I'm sharing with you today.

Never, ever assume the plastic lid is secure enough to support the weight of the entire container of dry oatmeal as you lift it from the back of the shelf.

Now where's my broom?

Where is my Danish !!!!!! (mom said no profanity lol)

Subject line courtesy of Kaeleigh (as you can tell by the excessive punctuation). This was taken after we had a crazy giggling fit at Starbucks where Kaeleigh fell in love with and then thought she lost her raspberry danish. We get looks everywhere we go :)

Just a reminder...

Rise up this mornin'; smiled with the risin' sun.
Three little birds pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs of melodies pure and true; saying,
"This is my message to you-ou-ou.”

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, ‘cause ev-ry little thing gonna be all right."
Sayin': "Don't worry about a thing, ‘cause ev-ry little thing gonna be all right!"

Dear Other Drivers,

If you need more than 2 the problem MAY not be the car. A shower never hurt anyone. Use soap.

Dear Mother Nature,

Thank you for Autumn, and especially for the colors on the little tree in my back yard.
