How NOT to make coffee

This morning I poured whole coffee beans directly into the (wet) French Press before they were ground. Once you do that you can't grind them, because they are all wet and will stick all over the grinder. I think tomorrow I'll just stay in bed until I hear the grinder going, because technically for me to have the skill to make coffee this early, I need... well.... coffee.
