You may or may not know this about me, but I love me some John Cusack. I love him just as much as I love James Spader. They are from the same era, the same time in my life. Better off Dead and One Crazy Summer are guilty pleasure movies that I can never see enough of, but there are sooo many other good ones too. Con Air, the Grifters, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (a top 10 in my favorite movies of all times) and of course, Say Anything. Who among us didn't want to be Diane Court in that movie?
Tonight we saw 1408. A movie full of jumps and scares. Not gory stuff, just the kind off stuff that makes you jump a little... ok, a lot. No big complicated plot, no huge cast of characters, just John Cusack in an evil room being... well... John Cusack. It was definitely enjoyable.
