Random acts of kindness

Last week I took down our Christmas tree. I de-lighted, took down the Mickey on top and packed away our ornaments. I set the tree out Sunday night with our trash but they didn't take it. They have a special tree pickup truck and it comes at other days than the trash, but I wanted to get it to the curb. As of last night the tree was still out front.

This morning I went out to my truck and on my way back up the driveway I saw this ornament hanging with our (Max like) flag:

I looked to the end of the driveway and my Christmas tree was gone. So someone, trash guy or random walker-by, saw the mistakenly thrown out ornament and rescued it for us. I have a rotten memory as to who gave us which ornaments but I know that Kaeleigh will know who gave her this. There were very few ornaments up on the tree this year, and this one made the cut for her so I know it's special (and very pretty).

Thank you, unknown ornament saver, and I hope someone does something unexpected and nice for you very soon.

Yesterday Nico and I were looking at pictures of Max and Buddha from when Max was rooming with us. Silly chatty cat.

1 act of random kindness can cause a chain. Don't let the chain of love end with you Sun.
