I am completely and utterly fascinated by the ocean (I swear, I am so tired I just spelled that otion), especially waves. Movies in which a giant wave is featured will be played over and over at my house, just the wave part, because of this fascination. I'll watch the beginning of Poseidon, the middle of The Day after Tomorrow, and any episode of Deadliest Catch just for the waves. If it's The Perfect Storm though, I'll watch the whole movie. George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg all scruffy (yum!) and at the end the coolest giant wave ever from a movie. It's been on at my house for the past hour and I've been watching with one eye while I'm on my computer, but once that storm hits I'll be glued to the set. I wanted to share the trailer for the movie with you, but it's very loud and flashy. Just watch this (true) wave clip and bask in the wavy goodness. It's beautiful. Oh.. and no actual surfers were harmed in the making of this movie, so don't worry:

I watched The Perfect Storm too last night! Came in on it when the men were getting thrown overboard. Right at the perfect time for waves! Great flick. Love ya honey!
