Creepy pictures

This is the picture that was over my bed at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. The entire place was adorned with pictures of rock stars and movie starts (think Bowie and Brando). When we checked in Scott called down to my room and asked if I had a creepy picture. His had "2 girls with gunshot wounds on their head". A stroll along the boulevard revealed that the gunshot wounds were actually some weird Bowie head painting thing (we saw a picture of Bowie with it on his head in the Virgin store window).

So my question to you readers, all 5 of you, who is this? Anybody know? I figured maybe one of my Jennifer's might have a clue.

UPDATE: My friend Keith found the answer for me! It's Syd Barrett. Syd was one of the founding members of Pink Flyod.
