Facebook is a funny thing. It's kind of like a more grown up version of My Space. It's the same idea, social networking, but it's done a little differently. There's no worries about clicking on someone's page and being instantly assaulted with a fluorescent page layout or crazy music. It's pretty plain.
I'm "friends" with my sisters, lots of my cousins, a bunch of Drew's family members and most of my real life friends. The neat thing for me is finding old friends by high school listings. My sophomore year in high school I moved in with my Dad and after that I lost touch with a lot of people I was friends with in school. Diane, of course, was the exception to this. She can never get rid of me (mwah ah ahh). I was able to search by what would (should) have been my graduating high school class and found people I haven't talked to in years and years. I'm seeing pictures of us all growing up, and how grown up we all are now and it's great. In fact, as I was in the middle of this I got a new friend request from a friend of the family, Scott, who I haven't seen in 15 years or so. Craziness.
Now, I know that Facebook isn't for everyone, some people may find it boring, but for me it helps me feel a little more connected to my friends and family and there's nothing wrong with that :)
