Crazy boy who lives across the street, throwing a long thin silver thing into the air tells me "We got new toys... pieces of metal".
He and his brother then proceed to continually throw the baton length pieces of metal into the ground, making them stick up. While their parents were sitting on the deck behind them.

Further proof the neighbor boys are crazy...

I love that. I just love that. That made me laugh so much. One time I let my kid floss her teeth with a dinner knife, till Scot said, "do you think that's a good idea?" I really didn't care. It was buying me some quiet time.
