Hurricane Katrina
This week, with all the devastation on the Gulf coast from Hurricane Katrina it made me sit down and think about everything in my life that I take for granted every day. Food, shelter, health (ok, that one I don't take for granted so much these days), all essential parts of my everyday life that just always seem like they'll be there. I mean, to be honest, I get mad when I miss the lunch truck guy in the morning and don't get my bagel sandwich, and these people don't even have water to drink. They are living on roofs and highways while I've got at least 3 places to stay within 15 minutes of my house. So I did what I could and donated to the Red Cross. I put a link on the right to their website.
