Holy Hell I got a job!

I know... I know... it's shocking, but it's true. A real job too, not some temporary retail stint like the 2 months of torture in the mall (don't remind me). I'm starting on January 2nd and quite honestly I'm really nervous!

The last time I started a "real job" was January 16, 2000. I woke up and there had been a snowstorm the night before. I left the house and it took me 45 minutes to drive the 5 mile drive to take Kaeleigh to Kindercare. I then drove home and called out on my first day. The people at ISG totally understood, they closed the office at noon that day anyway, but still... I called out my first freaking day! I compalin about those kind of people all the time. The next day (my real first day I guess) I crashed the main server putting in a CD drive. Blue screen of death! Heck of a way to get my feet wet, but I survived that day and six and a half more years.

So now it's a different real job. I'll be training in the home office for about a week, then working out of home most of the time. I'm VERY excited to be getting back to work, especially in IT. Being out of it for 6 months I've been going crazy, feel like I'm losing touch a little. I just have the first day of school jitters I guess.
