It's cookie time again. I've got my beautiful Kitchen Aid mixer whirring and mixing and my house smells awesome! So far I've made chocolate chip, oatmeal chocolate chip, oatmeal butterscotchies (I forget what they are called) and sugar cookies. I've only gained about 10 pounds during the process so it's going better than last year. However, tomorrow is the spritz cookies and I loooove the spritz cookies. Plus, you know, they break a lot when you're transferring them to the cooling rack, and you really can't give people the broken cookies on a tray. If you put them in the "house cookie" container all the whole cookies will laugh and point. Better to just put them out of their misery early. Goodbye bluejeans... hello sweatpants!
