I Miss My Friends

That's it. My subject line says it all. Here I am 11 months into my life in Pennsylvania and I have zero friends. None. I have one girl who comes close, but she's my hairdresser so basically I tip her well and we laugh and giggle the whole time she overcharges me for doing my hair. My neighbors are mostly elderly, or I never see them. I work from home so there's no going to "the office" to meet people.

Living in NJ I didn't see my friends every day, but at least once a week Jen and I had Junk TV night. We'd get some white pizza, turn on NBC and relax. Sometimes we talked the whole time, sometimes we didn't. That's the thing with great friends, even in silence there's comfort.

Silence without the friends though... that's just lonely.
