Today is my 39th birthday! I say that not with the dread and loathing that some people approach their birthdays with, but with pride. I survived another year. I've never looked at birthdays in a negative way, and even approaching 40 I'm loving it! I've got a big year coming up, major major life changes. Thirty-two days from today I will marry Drew. It's a relationship like nothing I've ever had, the most comfortable I've ever been with anyone. He is the one I am supposed to be with forever.
Tonight we aren't doing anything too special. I'm going for my second fitting on my gown and then Drew, Kae and I are going to grab some dinner. No place fancy, but it's still dinner out. Nobody should have to cook on their birthday :)

Your plans for the night sound perfect to me. I am so happy that you have such a wonderful daughter (obviously she's wonderful -- she's my cousin!) and a great soon-to-be-hubby who is so good to you and your baby. I hope I can find the happiness in life that you have.
