I am Legend

Last Saturday Drew, Kaeleigh and I went to see I am Legend. We have an Imax theater less than 10 minutes away in Harrisburg and it was playing there. As an added bonus we got to see an Imax only preview The Dark Knight, the sequel to the Batman Begins. If you've never seen Batman Begins I highly recommend it. It's much darker (and hotter) than all of the other Batman movies. Anyway, I digress... I am Legend. The movie moved me to buy Bob Marley's CD "Legend", the music is featured in the movie and Will Smith's character talks about him as well. I bought the CD on Christmas day and I've heard most of the songs before, it's amazing music in that it instantly changes my mood :) Excellent movie, and, uh Will Smith's physique... dayum!

If you don't know already, I love zombie movies. Last man on earth being way out-numbered by zombies? I am in! I am Legend is just that, but in a completely non-cheesy way. Will Smith is an amazing actor, he is the only actor in about 75% of the movie but you don't need anyone else. I laughed a lot, I jumped, I cried (with Will) and I was put on the edge of my seat.

Last night I had my first ever dream that I was being chased by zombies. It was straight out of any of the zombie movies I'd seen. The last thing I could remember was the zombies were coming out of the fireplace which was connected to the basement somehow. Drew had just gotten out of that room in time as the zombies started to break through the back of the fireplace. I was physically pushing one back into the basement (he felt like mushrooms) and screaming "BABE!" trying to call Drew to help me. The zombie lunged towards me and completely out of the fireplace when my alarm went off.

Weird timing, but safe from the undead... for now.
