Happy Easter! This, my friends, is a bunny cake. I first saw the bunny cake over 30 years ago when my Mom made one for my (then very small) sister Karen. Just seeing one yesterday made me smile. My Mom made it for an Easter Egg hunt she was going to. She made it for the hunt last year, and was making it again by request. She's like that, very festive for any occasion. We hung out for my Mom a bit this weekend, not nearly as much as I'd have liked.
After we left my Mom's we headed over to Williamstown where Christie took over for (vacationing) Lousie and we did some egg dying. Below you can see the favorite eggs of Drew and Robbie. Be sure to click on the picture, the larger image is much cuter.

Oh I remember that cake from when I was a kid. You make 2 round cakes and from one of the cakes you can make both ears and the bowtie!!! Too freakin' cute! Ahhh...the good old days.
