Kaeleigh, I'm sure we can all agree, is unique. There's something about her that just makes her likable. She gets along with everyone, is usually chipper, and quite often I have to tell her to tone down the cheeriness before I smack her into oblivion (don't take this seriously, oblivion is way far and I'm not that strong). She's also a very creative child. She buy unusual things, makes strange food concoctions and more than once I've found her with a red plastic fireman's hat on (and don't I wish I could find that picture right now). At any given time Kaeleigh can be found "exerting her uniquness" that's code for acting like... well... Kaeleigh.
Last weekend I went into her room and came across this site (pictured above). To her there is nothing wrong with this, she put the phone there when she was done with it. She knows where it is if she needs it. If I know my daughter she left the phone in there as she ate the popcorn.
Two days ago she asked me if I thought Hobos liked to swim. I turned to face her for a second as I was in the middle of like 4 things, ready to tell her to take her silly questions elsewhere. When I turned I looked at her face and saw she was totally serious, that's just what was on her mind. I said "Why not, it's probably like a big bath and what hobo would turn that downs?" She agreed, gave me a hug, and went on her way. Uniqueness. Wouldn't want her any other way.
