Well Hello faithful readers, it's blog-a-thon time again and this time around we are using songs/sayings from Grease as subject lines! That's right... slick back your hair, roll those smokes up in your sleeve, and get ready to hand-jive your way through our week. My cousin and blog-a-thon partner Jennifer will be joining so be sure to give her some clicks.
I'm going to start off tonight with my top 5 stories about the movie Grease:
5. My nickname at one time, Rizz, did not come from the movie Grease. My niece Alysha could not say my name and called me Aunt Rizz.
4. In 6th grade I won the sleepover talent show at Sarah Hargus's house by singing "Goodbye to Sandra Dee". Sleepover talent show contestants being me Sarah Hargus and some other girl.
3. My step-sisters at the time talked my friend Mary into covering my eyes whenever there was kissing in the movie when we went to see it. By the 3rd time I was not amused, but Mary was bigger than me.
2. It's Raining on Prom Night is my favorite song from the movie, hands down. I don't know why.
1. I owned the album and frequently sang along at the top of my lungs to my favorite songs (who didn't right?). Once I was singing "Look at Me I'm Sandra Dee" and came to the end of the song as my brother was passing by my door. He then went screaming to my Mom to tell her that I said the ending "Hey, Fungool, I'm Sandra Dee". However I did not say it (that time). My Grease album was siezed for a week scarring me for life.
Kae's first day of High School is tomorrow. Check for pictures.
