This... was the scene last night as Drew and I headed to bed and the girls descended into the basement. This is nothing compared to the years before, but there is still popcorn, pizza and half-full cups all over the place. However this year there was one HUGE difference...
They cleaned up! I kid you not. They came upstairs and ran through the living room cleaning everything up as Drew and I made the pancakes. The girls loved the maple pecan pancakes and even called it a "five star breakfast" which totally made my morning. Right now they are upstairs with my nail polish box out giving each other pedicures. Kae said they didn't do anything girly all night so they thought they'd do their nails.

Is it wrong that before I read this post I scrolled down to look at the ice cream cake again?
Did I mention there were little pieces of peanut butter cup IN the cake as well. Had a piece for dinner tonight... uh... I mean with dinner... aw hell... for dinner.
