Scene: Drew, Kaeleigh and I are all fixing our plates in the kitchen. Kaeleigh takes some steak and waits as I fix her baked potato as I've done every time since she was 4. I secretly love that she still asks me to fix it.
Liz: Kae, why don't you take a knife and humor me that you will actually use it instead of your fingers.
Kae: I'm already humoring you by taking the fork and having you think I'll use that.
We all cracked up.
