Gin & Tonics - Day 3


Right now I'm in my kitchen cooking the Bertolli Chicken Florentine skillet for two. When that's almost ready I add fresh spinach that's been sauteed in olive oil and garlic, tri-colored tortellini and a sprinkle of shredded Italian cheeses. Voila, dinner for three. It is the current favorite meal of all :)

Kaeleigh and Drew have been playing Wii for the past 2 hours giggling and telling on each other as the games go on. Such great sounds. I have been drinking gin and tonics each night of this fabulous weekend, why stop now? I'll tell you about it later, but for right now life is good... or the gin is good... I'm pretty sure it could be both. Cheers.

Isn't that just the sweetest harmonious bliss? What is it about the dinner hour that evokes such tender loving feelings? The garlic? The loved ones? The liquor? Whatever it is, I get it. We just finished steak on the grill with corn and Sierra Nevadas. We sat outside, and only came in cause I gotta bathe the kids. Rats!
