5 Random pictures from our day so far
This morning Kaeleigh and I went out to our farmer's market and then hit a craft show. Here are some of the sights we've seen so far today....
The top floor of the farmer's market has lots of little shops. I love this little book store "The Bookworm". Cheap paperbacks are the best!
Dong My is one of the many specialty stores in the market. In the case are stacks of spring rolls, stuffed wonton, and various flavors of chicken-on-a-stick deliciousness. I enjoyed a spicy Teriyaki stick for the low low price of one dollar.
There are a few different candy merchants at the market and each one is pretty cool. They've all got some old-school style candy and this time of year a ton of molded Easter chocolates. This vendor also sold candy molds, flavorings and decorations.
We hit up the Enola United Methodist Church's annual bake and craft sale. Table after table of crocheted hand towels, homemade soaps and beaded necklaces.... and one heck of a bake sale. This is one of 5 tables selling wrapped treats for $1 a slice. The church sale was huge but alas we walked away craft-free. I brought home a slice of pineapple upside-down cake.
Once we were home my loving Druman made us a nice lunch of loaded strombollis. He made a whole wheat one and a white crust one, both equally delicious. Now I think it's time for a nap.

I can't tell you how much I miss the kooky, cool offererings of the East coast. That looks so delightful.
The kids in the pic on my blog are my kids. It was last summer at the cabin we rent in Michigan, down the street from my brother's house. They were slap happy tired when I took the picture.
