Day 3


Have I told you that Drew and I are taking some steps to improve our health and lose some weight? You will never guess how we are doing it... wait for it... diet and exercise! We're using Power 90 for both. It's a low fat, high protein diet along with 6 days a week of exercise (3 sweat day and 3 sculpt days, both with abs). Drew already had the DVD's when we met but has never followed it through.

We've committed to sticking to it together for 90 days. Also, we don't expect to look like the people on the Power 90 site when our 90 days are up. We're realistic. We're tired of being out of breath and out of shape. We'd like to be comfortable again, not ripped. I like curvy (and so does Drew ;-)) but it's gotten a little out of hand. It's time. We've made it to day 3 and we're doing well. Lots of water (read: lots of pee-ing) and no eating after dinner at all. Both of those things are foreign to me. I'll keep you posted along the way... stay tuned.

Good for you guys. Doing it together will make it so much more tolerable.
Hey, funny timing. I did Weight Watchers last April and lost 10 pounds. Kept it off till last month, when I gained 5 back. April is a good month to start it. I cannot for the life of me NOT have a sweet after dinner. So hard, isn't it?

Cool - I love Tony Horton. I did 60 days of P90X last year - it was good for me, but then summer hit and I totally slacked off.
