We're giving love in a family dose

I love it here in Camp Hill. We've got a cute little Brady Bunch house in a nice neighborhood. Kae has friends around and goes to a decent high school. But... I wish we were closer to my family. Sometimes I just need to be with them, doing nothing but being a family. We're crazy, in each others business at times, and sometimes disagree on the way things should be done, but the love is always there. "I love you" is a phrase constantly spoken here, at my Mom's and at my Dad's. It's just what we do. We are open about that all the time, and I wouldn't have it any other way. It's never said just to repeat it back, there's meaning there. We all truly love each other no matter what, and that's the best thing about being a family.

*blog title from "We Are Family" by Sister Sledge. It's the one song that I regret not playing at my wedding since my sisters were my bridesmaids and the ringtone for any time Karen, Christie or Mere call me. As long as I have my sisters baby, I'm doing just fine.
