Today is Karen's birthday. I can still remember the moment I found out that my Mom had a girl. Fran and I were watching the Bugs Bunny show in our little Coachman Manor apartment. Aunt Eileen was in the kitchen, answered the phone, and then shared the news. Happy birthday Karen. I cannot even to begin expressing how much I love having you for a sister.
Here's some pictures of Karen, Nico and Olivia on the beach (day 3 of vacation). They both loved the beach, and kept my sister very busy :) Livi thought the sand was delicious, but the water a bit salty.
