One day in the 80's, way before the internet came into our lives, I saw this picture of Helena Bonham Carter in some teen magazine and instantly fell in love with her. It was the time of big shirts and for some reason I found hers pretty badass. That "HUMPH!" face, the evil eye... loved it!
She's the reason I own Alice in Wonderland (hence this post's title) and Fight Club, and is by far my favorite Harry Potter character. She's always got this "I'm a little bit mad" look about her, always with the corsets and beautifully crazy hair and seems to perfectly match her partner Tim Burton.
Anyway, sitting here watching the Oscars, where she got robbed but looks fantastic (to me), so I just thought I'd share my love for HBC with you.

I remember that picture from 17 Magazine! It made me love her too. She's wacky mad and the best actress in the world. The first film I ever saw her in was Jane Grey with Cary Elwes...love it!
