It's 8:38 am on Friday morning. I'm sitting at my desk (not watching Saved by the Bell the College Years, I swear) thinking about my weekend. I'm working all day, then tonight I'm getting a hair cut. I'm not as "cut it all off" as I was last week, but I need some style. Kae has skating tonight and I'll probably be on "pick up" for that since Drew will take her there while I'm getting my haircut. We totally rotate on Kae things, flawlessly, he's so great. Mostly gaming will take place tonight as I level my new girl in World of Warcraft. Drew has gotten a few levels ahead of me so I need to catch up.
The weekend, other than that, has very few plans. I'm hoping the weather stays like this, I've got the windows open and can hear the locusts outside in the tree. That sound will forever remind me of the backyard of our house on Boswell Road... before the pool, before the deck, when it was just 4 trees out there. We'd sit on the concrete step, not a care in the world since it was summer vacation, listening to that sound and watching lightening bugs. Speaking of that wonderful house (and those wonderful times) I realized on the forth of July something in my life that has come full circle, once again I only need to walk to the end of my street to see amazing fireworks. Just like when I was young :)

Lizanne,
Jen's friend here. I love your blog. Especially the one about your new ice cream maker. I just got one too, and have eaten 4 pounds worth. That double chocolate is awesome.
