This is my cousin Darcie and I at Jacob's wedding.
In case you don't know Darcie, she is my Uncle Larry's daughter. Uncle Larry, in addition to being Louise's brother, was my fathers best friend (like forever). When we were very young and my parents were still married our moms were friends. Darcie and I were "cousins" before we were officially true cousins. I have picture of us at my second or third birthday. One summer my family (Mom's side) took a road trip up to Maine to visit their family. Swimming in the waterfall up there with Darcie is one of my favorite childhood memories.
It's always so great when we get to see each other. The nicest thing is that it's always comfortable with her. We hug a lot, and then catch up with each others lives. This time we did a lot of laughing and even some dancing as well. I look forward to these kinds of reunions for the rest of our lives :) We'll always be together.

Great pic and soooo true!!! I only wish we had more opportunities to get together. I'm absolutely loving that you blog, cuz I feel like I'm closer to you.
Remember when I was moving and gave you my life sized Raggedy Andy (or was it Ann)? Somehow it made me feel better to know you had half of the pair :-)
Love you!!!
