A Holiday Tour

Now that the Christmas decorations are coming out I thought I'd give you a little tour of some of the holiday treasures that adorn our house.

The Christmas Mice were given to my brother and I by our Nanny in 1970. A few years ago I found a set on eBay and gave them to Fran for Christmas. Yes, we get much better reception with them on the TV.

The nativity set was my Mom-Mom's. She used to cut pieces off of a broom to use for hay in the cradle.

Our tree has many homemade ornaments on it so I gave credit to the artist of each.

Santa in a box was acquired (read: stolen) from the Krazy Kat. I did eventually get permission to take it after the bartender kept catching me. He looked like the Santa.

The Santa box was amazingly hand painted by Maria's mother. I have 3 things she painted for me, all Christmas, and that is my favorite. It's usually filled with chocolate treats.

PS. Sorry the pictures are so tiny. Photobucket cuts them off if they're any bigger and that bugs me when they don't look centered. It's a Libra thing.

Your decorations are awesome! I LOVE the homemade ones the best. We have a bunch we put on our tree too. Each one seems to bring with it a happy Christmas memory as we put it on the tree :-)
